Christmas Glitter Cushions with Gail Penberthy
Christmas Ideas • Educational, G, 03-Dec-2021
Gail loves working with fleece as it is very forgiving since it doesn't fray, is soft and cuddly and comes in a wide variety of colours.
As well as cushions, you could use fleece to create the stockings that you see hanging in the background. And all Gail's patterns comes with a full alphabet, so you can personalize the gifts as well.
The pattern for the cushions comes with a pocket on the back, so a perfect but handy hiding place for that remote.
Her Christmas Candy cushion also uses glitter felt, which is also easy to use. You can sew it just like regular fabric, and if you use a wide variety of colours, Gail has a suggestion to make your life easier. Think about using invisible thread as this means you don't need to change the thread for each colour. And Gail has another great tip using the desk hole punch.
