Christmas Panel Tablemats with Valerie Nesbitt
Christmas Quilting Ideas • Educational, G, 11-Dec-2020
In this workshop Valerie speaks about the various stages of making these table mats. You start off with the small pre-printed panels as a focus. Then Valerie adds half-square triangle units. She makes them easily with her favourite method Thangles. This means the seam allowance is really accurate. She also shows you how not to worry about the funny size of the panel.
Valerie suggests that you could make individual mats, join them together to form a runner, or make a delightful quilt, pre-printed panels are not just for Christmas!
If you particularly like the panel Valerie was using it's called Jolly Santa 9 Patch and you need to scroll down the page to find it.
