Christmas Table Runner Patchwork Block with Valerie Nesbitt
Christmas Quilting Ideas • Educational, G, 16-Oct-2020
Valerie uses pre-printed panels and her favourite method of creating 2" half-square triangle units. Valerie Nesbitt talks you through how to make these simple blocks, which can become cushions. Or you can put three together in a row, to make a great table runner.
She uses the thangles method of creating the half-square triangle units, you don't have to worry about your seam allowance. You can also work out very easily how wide you need the strips to be around the pre-printed panel. No complicated maths required.
This is a great project for beginners.
Also, the blocks that Valerie used are from a panel by Makower which is available on our website.
