Folded Potholder with Valerie Nesbitt
Christmas Quilting Ideas • Educational, G, 19-Jul-2019
Great Gift
All you need to make this traditional potholder is straightforward folding and sewing. And at Christmas you could think about adding some spices, such as cloves.
Use of heat resistant wadding and heat resistant fabric is also something you could consider.
Most of the sewing is large, out of sight and tacked onto a background fabric, so anyone can do it!
Helpful Tips
In the video Valerie shows how to make sure all the creases stay in place and on the right lines, as well as helping you to avoid having Vesuvius at the end with the bias binding!
