Immersion Dyeing with Angela Daymond
Classes with Angela Daymond • Educational, G, 28-Jun-2019
In her dyeing workshop, Angela uses Brazilwood to give the fabric a ‘pink’ color. She uses string to give this lovely shibori effect. If you are old enough to be a ‘flower child’ , we would call it tie-dyeing! As a bonus, don’t forget that the string will also pick up some dye color so you can use it in another textile project.
To find out more about Angela you can watch her interview with Valerie by clicking here. Plus she has an Eco dyeing workshop that you watch by clicking here.
Angela runs workshops from her studio in Spalding Lincs. You can find out more by visiting her website: www.fenlandtextilestudio.co.uk.
