As a subscriber, you are able to download the pattern for free by clicking on the workshop notes.
A kit for Anne’s Faded Flag Cushion in red, white and blue Liberty florals and the pattern can both be purchased on our website.
If you want to see what others have already made, take a look at our Show & Tell page. As you'll see, the colour options are limitless. The cushion looks great in faded floral colours, in traditional red, white, and blue and also in modern versions of cream and taupe, or purple and lime, or even animal prints.
Note: Anne mentions some 'Magic Paper' that was around at the time, but sadly we can no longer get hold of it; so you will need to resort to more traditional foundation paper which needs removing! If you can't find any locally, you can get in touch with my friends at Creative Quilting.
More about Anne Baxter
Anne lives in rural Devon, in a thatched cottage, which she shares with her husband and two dogs. Her patchwork decorates the house throughout. You can't help but be inspired surrounded by her work and all those old beams.
