Fun With Felt with Gail Penberthy
Classes with Gail Penberthy • Educational, G, 15-Jul-2022
Gail feels that felt is really easy to work with as it doesn't fray and she particularly likes to make these small 3D projects using it.
Simple to make by just folding and using the zig-zag stitch on your sewing machine, Gail points out a few things to bear in mind when you are using her patterns, which come with full size templates. Also, she suggest making these out of something a little bit more robust than paper, so you can use them again and again!
Beautiful cushions using this technique are the Dahlia and Sunflower an ideal project inspired by the summer garden.
She suggests, although her Follow the Leader pattern for a draught excluder has several hedgehogs on it, you use one hedgehog and pop it onto a cushion.
She also talks about a needle case and tape measure set too.
