Using Ruler Work
Classes with Jayne Brogan • Educational, G, 10-Jan-2022
The latest “must have” for free motion quilting is an acrylic ruler. They are perfect for adding beautiful patterns to quilts, especially sashing and borders.
In this video, Jayne Brogan and Valerie Nesbitt demonstrate ruler work by sewing a pattern from a Janome 6 piece set.
Sewing with rulers is a bit of learned skill. If you are an experienced sewer, you will want to slow down and remember to move the ruler not the fabric.
Experienced or beginner, you’ll benefit from the number of helpful hints in this video. It is a must watch for anyone interested in ruler work.
This video is also part of the #IDidntLikeToAsk Video series hosted by Valerie Nesbitt and Jayne Brogan.
