Adding Applique to Jennie`s Stripy Stripey Story Quilt
Classes with Jennie Rayment • Educational, G, 01-Oct-2016
To begin with Jennie gives you some help on the sewing sequence for your rows. She takes you through how to add your applique motives.
In the case of the beach ball you need to cut out and create the segments of the ball. Jennie uses the 45 degree triangle template for this. As these are made with 2.5″ strips you might like to think about the mini triangle template, it’s so cute!
The cupcakes were made with the help of a fabric die cutter, but Jennie has given you the drawings in the pdf, so you can make your own as well as the ice cream cone and two versions of ice cream!
Finally Jennie gives you a very comprehensive workshop on satin stitch applique, what foot to use.
