How to Use the EZ Quilting Uneven Nine-Patch Tool with Jennie Rayment
Classes with Jennie Rayment • Educational, G, 01-Sep-2016
This is a two in one template. It allows you to cut both the oval and the melon arcs for the background that join this fascinating block together.
Jennie guides you through the basic block which comes with the instructions of the template. It gives you a 10.5 inch block. You then cut this back to create the interesting Uneven Nine Patch centre.
If you are used to working in metric, just use all the relevant EZ tools and follow the numbers to make the patchwork fit.
Jennie also gives you a great tip on how to make sure everything is centred.
You can just make a single block to create a delightful circular design. There is also the possibility with this template to create a square block too – everything is marked on the same template.
In the background you get to see a variety of Fat Cats. We have a delightful workshop from Jennie on this too, which you can enjoy by clicking here.
You will also notice that Jennie uses this template to create waves in her Stripy Stripey Story Quilt – Row 11.
