Nancy loves English Paper Piecing so much that she started a business providing ready-cut patchwork paper shapes. These are accurately die-cut in the UK, which means that not only will your patchwork be that much more accurate but you can start sewing straight away! The papers are reusable.
English Paper Piecing is enjoying a revival because it’s so portable and you are able to use up scraps or small pieces of fabric as well, which means it’s very user friendly.
Nancy takes the time to give us a short English Paper Piecing demonstration with diamonds, which some great tips on what to do with the pointy bits (very technical description) and a lovely work in progress with a kite shape.
Her top tip? You should invest in good quality tools (that includes papers of course).
