Classes with Sylvia Critcher • Educational, G, 01-Feb-2013
Inspired by Sylvia Critcher
In this video, you will receive more inspiration from this very prolific group of students under the guidance of Sylvia Critcher.
We enjoy several versions of Sylvia’s pattern ‘Seeing Stars’ which is a workshop. As well as brilliant uses of a variety of small panels, which will then turn into quilts.
If you like the 54/40 quilt then we have reactivated this from our archives for you.
Sylvia also teaches (or taught) porcelain doll making complete with authentic clothes and needle sculpture dolls.
Event charities
Prostate Cancer was chosen charity for the event. Sylvia and her team redirected “Seeing dogs for the Blind” “Hearing Dogs for the Deaf” and “The Prison Baby Quilts” to St.George’s Hospital in Tooting Surrey and also to the charity Momentum.
Momentum is a charity that aims to help children (up to the age of 17) and the families of children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening conditions in Surrey and South West London. For more information simply click.
