Crossing Sashing Idea for your Quilt with Valerie Nesbitt

Valerie explores this simple technique to produce a quilt that highlights a feature fabric with a two contrast fabric cross sashing.
She discusses:

simple fast cutting using a 6 1/2 ” ruler
stacking cut pieces to save counting twice
the importance of laying out your quilt
how to support chain piecing.

By showing how easy the rows come together, Valerie makes these beautiful quilts that can support any occasional feature fabric. Resizing is simple as the quilt uses 3 basic shapes for its construction.
