9-Patch Patchwork Variation
What did we do before the rotary cutter? Take truly lovely fabric, cut it up, sew it together, cut it up again, and sew it up again. But what a great result! And the variety is endless not only by changing the fabrics, but also by simply changing the size of the squares you cut.
The setting of this Disappearing 9-Patch is one of the few that actually makes the design tesselate as you can see the pattern zig-zag's across the quilt.
Fast Weekend Quilt Idea
This is a really lovely pattern, downloadable so you can get started straight away, and you will be amazed at just how quickly you can make this quilt. Of course, making the top is only part of the story, but the quilting can be fairly fast and easy too.
