Rotary Cutting Squares and Triangles
In this our 3rd Block we continue to help with the rotary cutting skills. You also discover how to create fast and accurate half-square triangle units.
This block is very simple in its original format and great for using up scraps.
The variation block incorporates a 4-patch in the corners as well as in the centre. It also works well as a complete quilt. The 4-patches will give a trellis/chain-like look to the quilt if you have the 4-patch colours all headed in the same direction.
Note: if you are making several of these blocks you do need to pay attention to the spin of the star. You’ll want them all spinning in the same direction!
