Modern Quilts with Valerie Nesbitt
Classes with Valerie Nesbitt • Educational, G, 30-Jul-2021
Traditionally patchwork consists of taking perfectly good fabric, cutting it up into little pieces and then sewing it back together again!
To create a modern looking quilt you do the same thing. Here though the pieces are bigger so that the feature fabric is showcased. There is lots of background fabric, often grey or tone/tone white or cream. The quilting is simple too, often straight lines with the walking foot.
Here Valerie shows you three examples which are easy to adapt to a fabric that is perhaps talking to you from your stash.
