Patchwork Border with Strip Piecing
Piano keys are a great way of creating a border with all those bits and you know this pieced border will work colourwise because it uses all the fabrics from your main quilt. Strip piecing will give you more accuracy than cutting individual bits, but you can add these in too, and not all the strips need to be the same width. As you can see from one of the quilts behind Valerie.
The two quilts shown were featured as a Block of the Month programme, which was free to subscribed members. A pattern is now available, as a download, for those who missed it.
