Granny Crochet Cushion with Jane Czaja
Crochet • Educational, G, 01-Jul-2022
Jane shows you how to create a lovely cushion using the basic granny square.
Perfect to rest your head on or fit in the small of your back.
Any size of cushion is possible. It all depends on the size of the cushion pad and the amount of wool.
In order to make this cushion Jane demonstrates two ways to start the Granny Square, using a 4 chain or magic ring loop. She then uses a mixture of chains and treble stitches to create the front and back of the cushion cover.
There are tips and techniques for dealing with loose centres, loose ends and roving balls of wool. With a superb explanation of how to double crochet the two sides together.
Workshop notes are available for subscribed members.
