How to Insert a Zip Quickly and Easily with Gail Penberthy
Cushions (textile art) • Educational, G, 07-Jan-2021
Gail shares with us her easy method of inserting a zip. You can do without even having to search out that special sewing machine foot that you know the machine came with!
In this method you can also avoid having to work round the zipper head.
Gail uses a modern nylon zip in this demonstration.
Do take care if you are raiding your stash and you come across a zip with metal teeth. You will need to ensure that the needle misses them!
We have the Fabric Glue Pen from Sewline available on our website.
