Sylvia talks us through all the stages of making this charming little pincushion. She points out that these steps apply to all her patterns and projects.
She talks through the materials she likes to use. This includes needles, threads and she is obviously a rebel here using machine threads and metallic! Sylvia also has a special wool from her own supplier which she likes to use for the corded work (and which is available in our website).
In this very comprehensive workshop Sylvia shows you how to mark your design on to the calico. Use simple running stitches to create the channels. Stuff the channels and shapes to create the trapunto and corded Italian designs.
