The Wonderful World of the Embellishing Machine with Jennifer Trollope
Embellishing • Educational, G, 01-Jun-2011
She is one of the accomplished designers from embellishment to Revelation Burning.
Jennifer hated sewing at school. However, she is the most inspirational designer now.
To quote from her website:
“Taking a two-year City and Guilds course in 2000 was the turning point for me. It changed my perspective on sewing forever. The course opened my eyes, literally to the way I perceive and interpret color, form, and medium in general. Simultaneously, I attended a day workshop with Val Thomas making a panel of Double Irish Chain block piecing. This is something that I had never done before. Thus, it was something like going in at the deep end! Like for many of us, it was the catalyst to get me hooked.”
