She has become an international figure in her field because of her quick, simple, innovative, and original techniques with manipulated material and her interactive, humorous lectures.
Jennie teaches a wide variety of classes for all levels and abilities of sewers, from patchworkers, quilters, and embroiderers to fashion, soft furnishing, and home décor enthusiasts.
Although, she creates a lot of work in simple calico known as muslin in the USA. You can make quilts, wall hangings, baskets, cushions, table linen, and fashion garments and accessories.
Indeed, she creates deviously ingenious textural designs that will captivate needlework enthusiasts. While her magic manipulations provide them with endless creative ideas.
With six books on fabric manipulation techniques - all still in print, many articles, and various patterns including a twiddled and fiddled Block of the Month quilt, Jennie’s material magic goes on and on.
