Rotary cutting is the fast and accurate way to get patchwork pieces ready for the fun bit – the sewing! Jennie talks you though the various ruler sizes she likes to use, explains some of the patchwork terminology and shows you how to cut your fabric safely.
Rulers used by Jennie are:
3.5inch x 9.5 inch Junior
6.5inch x 13 inch
6.5 inch x 24 inch
These are all available in our website.
She also mentions the draft and cut ruler.
If you are used to working in metric, these rulers will help you access the millions of other patterns that are only available in imperial and provided you use co-ordinating equipment, like the Easy Angle for the triangles, all you need to do is follow the numbers – no maths involved!
