Why you Should Use Flat Headed Pins with Valerie Nesbitt
Quilting Equipment • Educational, G, 01-Oct-2018
Sometimes it is necessary to create a paper cutting template – particularly if you don’t have the specialised acrylic rotary cutting ruler. But you need to keep yourself safe when using rotary equipment. You can do that by using flat headed, flower pins.
They don’t distort the surface and you can then use any acrylic ruler to help you cut on the edge.
This tip is taken from a much longer, comprehensive workshop with Valerie called Sassaman Inspiration in which she uses large print fabric to great effect. You can enjoy this by clicking here.
