TASTER: Wrist Pincushion with Jennie Rayment
FREE Tasters (Embroidery) • Educational, G, 27-Mar-2020
Jennie shows us how to make this useful little project from a couple of pieces of felt. She suggests using your sewing machine to create a design on the top. This could be a great opportunity for you to try out some of those stitches and/or threads you have always wondered about.
You could just as easily work this by hand with simple embroidery stitches and therefore one for the younger generation too, maybe chain stitch and running stitch.
Valerie still has one she made as a child with chain stitch as the decoration and was much cherished by her mother.
Also a great fundraising idea as it is quick and easy!
