TASTER: Half Treble Crochet Stitch with Jane Czaja
FREE Tasters (Crochet) • Educational, G, 29-Jan-2021
This is the third and final basic stitch workshop from Jane. Here again, she starts her workshop sample with the chain of 10 stitches. She demonstrates how to start your first row, how to turn at the end of the row and how to keep the side of the project nice and neat.
The delightful crochet rug was made from tapestry yarns, so you don't have to limit yourself to wool or crochet yarns.
Once you have mastered these three stitches, Jane believes you can tackle any crochet pattern. She has designed a stitch sampler with 36 different blocks for you to practise your skills on. It's available as a download on our website, so you can start straight away.
The other two stitches you need to know are: Double crochet and Treble Crochet.
