TASTER: Cwilt Cymru Exhibition with Judy Fairless
FREE Tasters (Textile Art) • Educational, G, 01-Mar-2017
Judy Fairless was kind enough to tell us about the exhibition and the contributors and we learn how they all made small sample books, so that the visitors could enjoy the feel of the textiles as well as learn about the design process for the larger pieces.
There are currently 10 members of the group and, as can often be the case, the interpreation of the given theme was wide and varied.
Judy’s own piece of work was based on a friend’s poem and her work of art evolved with her keeping snippets of the poem itself.
