TASTER: Soft Sculpture Faces with Linda Seward
FREE Tasters (Textile Art) • Educational, G, 19-Feb-2021
Linda loves to add this detail to her quilts in a subtle way, so that the viewer gets a gentle surprise when they find it.
She talks us through how to make the face, using the grain of the fabric to great effect, thread possibilities and how to make a knot in the end of invisible thread – something that lots of us struggle with.
You also get guidance on how to make the face – making all those facial features of a nose, lips and eyes.
Just one of the many chapters that feature in Linda’s latest book – The Ultimate Guide to Art Quilting.
