TASTER: Textile Exhibition by the Group Contemporary Quilters West
FREE Tasters (Textile Art) • Educational, G, 01-Dec-2018
Contemporary Quilters West is a grup of twenty two individuals, all living in the South West of the UK.
We get to see a fascinating range of effects created by the various artists. Some of artists are interested in eco dyeing and even boiling fabric to see what the effect is.
The group meets six times a year, to share their ongoing work and inspire each other. Early on in the group's development it was decided that they should exhibit together every other year, with the initial title being 'Unfolding Stories'. Well you can guess, this is now Number 3.
Also, our thanks to our hostess for the exhibition who was Stephanie Crawford.
