TASTER: Wreaths with Gail Penberthy
FREE Tasters (Textile Art) • Educational, G, 01-Apr-2022
Gail shows you wreaths for all occasions and events. There is everything from Christmas, Easter to Christenings. With any special occasion just on the horizon, what a great opportunity to decorate your home. All the elements are removable, so you could then just enjoy it on it’s own.
Gail shows you just how easy they are to make utilising scraps of colour coordinated or just completely random fabrics. Gail also sometimes adds in organza and a bit of glitz – anything goes really. Get the children involved too as the strips are just tied onto the wire floral wreath base.
You can see the variety of wreaths around her that she has made.
The fluted blade she uses on her rotary cutter has a standard fitting.
