TASTER: English Paper Piecing Corner Catching Technique with Nancy Adamek
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 01-Jan-2021
In this workshop Nancy shows you a great idea when using mini hexagons. You no longer have to tack through the papers. Instead you can just catch the corners. Nancy in fact is using 1/2″ hexagons to create the lovely butterfly that is on the thumbnail.
Not only is this faster, but you can also leave the thread in – you do however still have to remove the papers – but then they are reusable, which means you don’ t have to buys thousands when making your quilt.
This technique can also be used with the 1 ¼” 60 degree diamonds!
