TASTER: Kitty with Valerie Nesbitt
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 01-Mar-2018
Valerie talks to you about various elements of this quilt, which has been designed around the use of picture panels.
Judith then created a centre pieced block, and again Valerie gives you some tips on how to create this accurately.
Then we move on to the checkerboard border and the outer Drunkards Path (which Valerie wrongly names at the beginning as Dresden Plate - sorry!) She gives tips on how to use the paper templates for this as well as just using 3 pins for the sewing.
You can download the free pattern by clicking here and pop down to your local quilt shop for supplies. But then you will miss out on all that helpful advice!
We have linked the new Drunkards Path rotary cutter template set to the video. We believe this would work well in terms of size. And great if you want to use this patchwork pattern more often.
