TASTER: Simple Two Tone Unit with Valerie Nesbitt
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 01-Dec-2014
Simple strip piecing makes this simple two-tone unit; so if you have lots of stock of fabric then you can just cut them up into strips; but if you have lots of squares, then they work too – and Valerie gives you several simple design options that you can work on.
Depending upon your fabrics and/or colours you can produce a very modern looking quilt with lots of white or grey as a background, or you could just colour-coordinate the fabrics.
If you like the rail fence (Zig-zag) look, then there is a separate section of this for beginners in the Your First Sampler Quilt series and you can learn more about that by clicking here.
Rail Fence is block 1 and more colours are used in the sampler quilt.
We look forward to seeing other examples for our show & tell page.
