TASTER: Snowballs and Shoofly Patchwork Blocks with Valerie Nesbitt
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 20-Nov-2020
Feature fabric is just that and it can seem such a shame to cut it up into little pieces. In this workshop Valerie keeps the squares to a reasonable size, but you could readjust to even bigger! Then she combines the simple stitch ‘n flip snowball with a shoo fly setting in the sashing and border which is again simple to do.
A possible note of warning from Valerie – she has found this pattern particularly addictive and can confirm that it works well with jazzy children’s fabrics too.
