TASTER: Stitch `n Flip Whole Quilt with Valerie Nesbitt
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 04-Oct-2019
A quick quilt
Another interesting idea, that is quick and great for a last minute quilt.
The ‘Stitch ‘n Flip’ method of construction takes on a whole new meaning with this style of quilt. You can make it in lickerty-split time and there’s no quilting needed either!
Try flannel or fleece
Think about using snuggly fabrics such as cotton flannel, fleece works well too. But remember, that you will need to control the stretch. Also you could clip the edges of the quilt to give it a raggy edge, so no binding!
If you want to know more about the mitred binding technique click here.
Some fantastic single sided and double sided fused waddings are now available. They are would be great to used for this project and you can find more information from Lady Sew & Sew/wadding page, just click here.
