TASTER: Up Hill and Down Dale Quilt with Janet Clare
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 02-Aug-2019
This is a lovely modern version of the more traditional pattern Delectable Mountains. Janet has worked out a way to create this simply and easily by using your pre-cut layer cake. If you don’t have those , then you can raid your stash and just cut lots of 10″ squares to start you off.
Janet shows you the various stages of construction. She also recommends that you are very systematic with your cutting and labelling. Then you can just move on to the easy strip-piecing with the sewing machine.
Janet is very proud of the fact that this is a no-waste project – so you get to use everything and the pattern makes up into a single bed quilt, using the two full layer cakes
