Meet Tess Grace from the Arty Crafty Place
Interviews with Textile Art Artists • Educational, G, 02-Apr-2021
Tess Grace and her colleagues are passionate about block printing and in this interview we learn just how varied that can be.
Block printing is simple and can be done onto pretty much any surfac. Fabric is traditionally the medium that Valerie has enjoyed working with, but there is the opportunity to create lampshades which will personalize your home. Create unique homewear , such as cardigans, and block printing can turn plain brown paper into wonderful wrapping paper.
The Arty Crafty Place have their blocks made exclusively for them in India, and you can order something special or just select from their already vast range of both traditional and modern designs.
If you are in the mind to have a block printing party, then you can hire all the kit such as blocks and paints, just get in touch with Tess.
You will also find a bigger selection of kits on Tess’s website The Arty Crafty Place.
