Interviews with Textile Art Artists • Educational, G, 01-Jan-2013
Valentina Brunn started her art career at Ealing School of Art, completing a 3 year degree course in fashion design and this is when her interest in textiles began.
Shortly after, she found herself travelling the world and residing in Rio de Janeiro, the Sudan and Beirut, but on returning to the UK took up a position of Chief Designer at Cape Allman International.
City & Guilds Parts 1 and 11 in Embroidery at the Hampton School of Needlework and Woking Centre then followed, and during this period, Valentina was asked by the Embroiderer’s Guild to present contemporary beading for their portfolio.
Valentina is currently working on further development of style and techniques, as well as creating pieces on commission and for exhibition.
Her style is contemporary and three dimensional and she can be found at: [email protected]
