How to Knit a Rabbit Scarf with Fiona Goble
Knitting • Educational, G, 06-Dec-2019
Knitting in super chunky yarn, this will be quick to knit and adding the rabbit details really fun. Fiona talks you through how to add the face which is made as an additional section. Plus she has a great tip for keeping the scarf flat as it's knitted.
The face attaches to the scarf with Mattress Stitch. So, this gives an invisible join, which Fiona explains the end of her book. Plus Fiona has also done another workshop for us specifically on this.
In addition, you can add facial features with chain stitch, buttons or felt. Fiona attaches the front legs separately. She talks you through making these as well as how to add a simple pom-pom to act as a tail.
You will need Fiona’s book for the actual knitting pattern.
