“Cathedral windows – New Views” is a new technique of creating the window where the contrast of colours allows the frames to stand out. This creates an enhanced 3D effect.
Vendulka’s use of a single window block allows her to play with designs, fabrics and colours. She shows how the magic of different fabric ranges can produce inspired projects. This is created by utilising fussy cutting techniques and echoing fabrics in the borders.
Her  book produces a variety of projects using the arrow, wreath, cross and 4 and 5 block patterns. She makes these into wall hangings, long cushions and quilts. In fact, she managed to use all of these in creating her wonderful final quilt.
