Description

This little tip from Valerie will save you time as well as thread. Do take extra care though if you are using plain fabric or batiks, or any other fabric that is the same both sides, as you want to avoid having a twist in your strip.

The tip is also useful for sewing regular lengths of binding together, and you can join then at an angle too.

You may notice that the selvedges were still on while Valerie was sewing, these she cuts off later, but you could do it first.
