Christmas IS just around the corner, so we’ve got a great selection of decoration and gift ideas for you and your family to make this month.
Craig Joubert starts us off with some exceptional last-minute marbling ideas. He creates unique gifts and decorations which all the family can enjoy making.
Gail Penberthy is back. She is sharing her love of working with fleece and makes some wonderful cushions, You'll also see how she loves putting on the glitz (glitter felt that is).
Our Technique Thursday for December features Lynette Harris, The Stitch Witch. Her beautiful tree designs use simple iron-on gold bias strips which even her husband can do! And then Valerie Nesbitt uses this idea in her Gold Bias Tree wallhanging.
Valerie also brings us a practical three-pocket Christmas hanging workshop and an easy-to-make YoYo fabric garland. These will bring Christmas cheer to any room and would use up lots of wonderful little scraps of fabric. Another great idea to get all the family involved with!
Mandy Shaw is the Queen of Christmas. Her workshop creates cheery seasonal bunting, whilst Jennie Rayment wants to decorate your Christmas trees with her amazing hanging hexagons.
Anne Baxter is also with us twice this month. First she shows us how to create a Zigzag patchwork table runner for the festivities. Then her second workshop features a seasonal Glad Tidings patchwork quilt – a great new project for the New Year .
Our final video this month is a non-Christmassy treat for you to sit back and enjoy. We visit the fabulous American Museum in Bath for a very special textile exhibition called Hatched, Matched, Despatched, and Patched that we captured for posterity – definitely not to be missed.
