TASTER: Take 3 Fabrics with Valerie Nesbitt
Educational, G, 01-Aug-2016
Valerie shows you how to create this quilt using just three fabrics, well, two that have quantity and then a small accent square. So not much needed there.
In the original quilt she was inspired by the wonderful seascape fabric, then realised how easy it is to create, so went on to make the children’s quilt with 1930’s inspired fabric.
Simple rotary cutting and a small amount of strip piecing, together with big strips of fabric, and you can make this easily in an afternoon! No need to worry about accurate seam allowance. Anything goes as this is your quilt! And great, if you are used to metric as well.
